LIBRA(sept. 22- oct.23)

LIBRA is the seventh Sign of the Zodiac, and it is at this point in the Zodiac that we start to see a shift. While the first six Signs of the Zodiac focus on the individual, the last six focus on the individual’s contact with others and with the world. Librans are first and foremost focused on others and how they relate to them. We can call this the Sign of partnership with a capital ‘P’ because these folks do not want to be alone! For a Libran, everything is better if it’s done as a pair. Librans are good when paired up, too, since they epitomize balance, harmony and a sense of fair play. Rooster is my year sign, rooster children are self- starters and originals.These characteristics earn them the reputation of being eccentric. These children are not afraid to be what they are and will most likely start a trend of follow one.

Curious and studious, these children love to learn, be it through their textbooks or through life experiences. In fact, roosters are notorious bookworms.

They are also compromising when it comes to their beliefs and ideals.Their tendency to stick to what they believe in can make them overly critical of others who don’t share them.They loved to critisized and are not believers of hypocritical statements.

They say it what they think w/o the sugar-coating. Valuing independece, and self-reliance, they will defest weakness, dependency and irresponsibility in others.

“Do you celebrate your birthday or not?”

If you ask me if I celebrate my birthday, I can say yes, I celebrate my birhtday but not in a bongacious way like the rich people do.It is ok w/ me if I see my family happy and complete. I know that all of us are celebrating our birthday because it is the time of enjoyment w/ the family. But did you know that old ancient hebrew do not celebrate their birthday because its not a Bible’s teaching. According to them celebrating one’s birthday is like idiolism, because its not a christians tradition.

But there are 2 persons who celebrated their birthday and these persons are not christians but Pagan. First, is the pharaoh of Egyth who killed an innocent baker by hanging him. Second, is Herod who killed John the Baptist because of a lovely dancer. These birthday are mentioned in the bible andthis birthday have traggic  event that happened.

Even Jesus’ diciples know the exact birthday of Jesus Christ but they didn’t celebrate it because they know thatits not a christians will.

City Science High School

Cityhigh!

Puerto Princesa City National Science High School is a public science high school here in Puerto Princesa. Since I studied here I had saw many improvements like the one two-storey building that only build last year. As I enter this school it is true that only few are the students here because of kick- out policy if your grade is below 85, especially the principal is very stricked in terms of learning.The color of the soil here is red. City high has 14 teachers and almost 300 students. Last June City High celebrated the acquiantance party for the first year, July they celebrated the nutrition month and this August we had our intrams, etc. It is given through the SSC or Students Suppreme Council. They plan about the activity that will be held but every year we elect new. City High helps the students to be more responsible. They teach students how to make investigatory project and thesis. I am proud to be a City Science High students.

Junior-Senior Promenade ’09

Last Feb. ’09 we had a yearly occasion “The JS Promenade” at the Asturias Hotel, we had a party that last only 4 hrs.(7:00-11:00pm) and that time many had happened. The one that I relly not to forget is the proposal of kuya Jerov to ate Helen, he gave a ring to ate Helen, with a matching “luhod” I feel the sweetness of kuya Jerov because he is not ashamed to do that in front of many people. they are not human, they are not an animals but they are “bagay na bagay” perfectly to each other. I like also the food that we eat except from one dish, the fresh vegetable salad. There are also a flying of cakes that helped the JS became enjoyable. Almost all the students are running to defenced theirselves in the cakes even the teachers, I think Maam Buenafe had a cake in her face that time, he..he…

Bestfriends are not easy to find. You think that they are your bestfriend but honestly they are not. Since elementary I had many friends but few of them I really treasured most. ADJA my acronym for my 4 bestfriends namely Ate Angel, Dana, Jam, and Alysa. They are my Bestfriends in my high school life. Ate angel, we first met when I took the entrance examination here in cityhigh. Ate Angel serves as my sister because she always help me when I have a problem. Dana, we 1^st met when I was 6 yrs. old because we were just neighborhood. Since then we became friends until now. She is a girl that made me laughed everytime I talked to her. Jam, my noisiest bestfriend although she is that small. She also made me laughed everytime she do something. And last Alysa, she also helped me when I had a problem through her support. She is very addict in “Twilight” especially the major character Bella Swan (Yza!?!) and Edward Cullen (Ralph) I had no idea about the story of “Twilight” but everytime we met she always talked to me the story of “Twilight” and because of that I had almost memorize it although I did not read it.
